Arctic Zero “Unfried” Frozen Dessert

I’ve partnered up with Arctic Zero to create a Valentine’s Day Fearless Foodie recipe. When they reached out to me asking if I would like to participate I immediately said “yes!” because I of course LOVE frozen desserts! I decided to make one of my favorite new dessert creations: “Unfried” Ice Cream. I just love the mixture of the creamy sweet frozen dessert and the salty crunchy pretzels. I’m such a sucker for the sweet & salty combo! I will show you two different variations below. Hope you enjoy the recipe! 🙂

Salted Chocolate “Unfried” Frozen Dessert:
½ cup Arctic Zero Chocolate Fit Frozen Dessert
1 tsp mini chocolate chips
½ oz mini pretzels
1 tbs whipped cream
sprinkle himalayan sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Scoop ½ cup of the Arctic Zero onto plastic wrap, use the wrap to form balls. Store in freezer to harden until step #2 is complete.
  2. Smash the pretzels in a plastic bag with a small mallet and add to a bowl or plate. Add chocolate chips to pretzel crumbs.
  3. Remove the Arctic Zero balls from the plastic wrap and roll in the pretzel mixture.
  4. Add toppings: for the Cherry Chocolate Chip heat the cherry preserves in the microwave for 20 seconds and drizzle over top with a sprinkle of mini chocolate chips. For the Salted Chocolate add whipped cream and a sprinkle of himalayan sea salt and mini chocolate chips.
  5. Enjoy!

*Note: If at any time the Arctic Zero is too soft just pop it in the freezer for about 5 minutes to let harden again, it is much easier to work with harder.

Step 1: scoop Arctic Zero on plastic wrap and form into balls
Step 2: smash pretzels
Step 3: roll Arctic Zero balls in pretzels to coat
What finished ball should look like
Step 4: Add toppings
